Pineview said good-bye to our long-time member, Robert A. Robertson, on January 1, 2012.
Services for Robert A. Robertson, 77, were held on January 4, 2012, at Brookland United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. J. Wayne Smith, Jr. Interment in Lybrand Cemetery. Mr. Robertson was a member of and very active in serving at Brookland United Methodist Church. He was also an active member of the Pineview Ruritan Club.
George Ross Mathias, Sr.
We said good-bye to long-time member, George Mathias, on March 17, 2010.
Services for George Ross Mathias, Sr., 77, were held on March 20, 2010 at Mt. Hebron UMC with the Rev. Larry Hays and Rev. Mandy Taylor Young officiating. Mr. Mathias was retired from AT&T, was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a member of the Jamil Shrine Temple, the Pioneers, the Pineview Ruritan, the Wesley Fellowship SS Class and a life member of Mt. Hebron UMC. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Lake Champlain during the Korean Conflict.
