Pineview Ruritan Club

We are a diverse group.  The Pineview Ruritan focus is our local community, consisting of Lexington and Richland counties.  We provide community service to benefit the residents around us and strive to better their daily lives.  We provide volunteer services of many types.  We also provide services, products and funding for many organizations.

We sponsor groups such as Girl Scouts and Boys Scouts, Boys & Girls Club of The Midlands, Youth Baseball, Youth Softball and other sports activities and school events to strengthen the morale of our community youth.

We provide monthly trash pick-up through Adopt-A-Highway, park restoration and offer assistance in restoring community centers, facilities and landmarks.

Pineview is a proud sponsor of numerous food banks throughout the Midlands, such as Harvest Hope Food Bank.  We make a group collection from members each meeting to stock our pantry for donations to Harvest Hope and SisterCare of The Midlands.  Want to donate?

SisterCare is also one of our focal points for fundraising at Pineview.  We provide dinners during our fundraiser dinner cook offs, pantry items throughout the year, clothing drives as well as cell phone donations.  If you have an old, unused or broken cell phone, please allow us to recycle it through SisterCare.

Our Ruritan raises donations to contribute to Rudy Bear each year.  To learn more about Rudy Bear and why he is so important, please read more here.  If you would like to donate a Rudy Bear, please contact Elaine Henderson to find out how.  A $5 donation will buy a Rudy Bear to be donated to our local Police and Fire Rescue Departments.  A $10 donation will buy 3 Rudy Bears!  Every dollar helps us get closer to the next bear donation.  If you would like to teach your children to contribute, and get involved, sign them up for the “Change for Rudy” program we designed to help young children learn to give and get the recognition for their selflessness.
